“I could not be happier with the experience I had using Zbolt to construct my second story deck. Zachary spent the time with me to go over multiple options for the deck covering material, railing options, upgrades and timelines. After speaking with a few deck builders both large and small, it was pretty clear Zbolt was the option I was most interested in. I had reviewed some videos of Zachary on-site at other project similar in scale performing the work through his social media presence and could tell he takes pride in his work (and it's him on-site during the build, not just subbing out the work to contractors I did not contract with). I pulled the trigger on basically every upgrade Zachary gave the option for and I am glad I did. We were sold on the mineral composite decking material through Deckorators to help offset the heat from the sun. The rep from Deckorators also came out to the project to see if we had any concerns, feedback etc.. We couldn't be happier with the product. Wrapping the support posts and beams with the decking material is a gamechanger and worth every penny the upgrade costs. I have had multiple neighbors comment on how great the finish looks compared to leaving the PTL as is. I put in a photo of the project before wrapping the posts and beams so you can see the difference it makes. I cannot overstate how worth it this is. We also opted for the metal roofing (soffit) gutter system under the deck to make a much more functional space under our deck. It has already rained and we can tell the difference it makes and it looks great compared to seeing the bare joists from the bottom. We also went with the drink railing which I thought was maybe just a gimmick, but it really gives the deck an added visual appeal compared to standard railing while also being functional. Zachary was on-site and communicated with me every day during the install to ensure we were happy with the process, had a say in any small visual details (flashing colors, paint colors) during the build, and to let us know what we could expect the next day during the build. I have given his contact info to multiple friends and family and I hope they make the same decision I did and go with his company for their projects. My mum was having the deck fixed at her house and the Trex was faulty and crumbling in places (and they refused to replace it) and we had about 10 different contractors over to provide quotes. Zack’s team were chosen both in competitive bid, but also professionalism and people that had worked with them and a confirmed they were the best (on a FB group I belong to).
